Legal Hackers is a global movement of lawyers, policymakers, designers, technologists, and academics who explore and develop creative solutions to some of the most pressing issues at the intersection of law and technology. Through local meetups, hackathons, and workshops, Legal Hackers spot issues and opportunities where technology can improve and inform the practice of law and where law, legal practice, and policy can adapt to rapidly changing technology. Founded in 2015, KC Legal Hackers is a network of legal professionals in Kansas City who are passionate about the intersections of law, technology, and design.
KC Legal Hackers hosts events where members can network and learn about the ways technology and design might improve the legal industry.
Past events include our annual Law and Technology CLE event, Legal Hackathons, and a course on Computer Programming for Lawyers.
